TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Fixing Advice

These installation notes are for general guidance only in fixing Onduline material. For special applications or variations in roof form, please contact
our technical department for assistance.

Handling
Onduline should be lifted from the pallet, not dragged across it. The material should then be handled using conventional techniques for corrugated
sheeting.

Site Storage
Onduline is delivered to site on pallets of 300 or 420 sheets and wrapped in polythene. It is not recommended to stack pallets. Sheets must be
stored flat and covered at all times to protect against weather and dust. Onduline must be protected from direct sunlight.

Maintenance
To ensure long life we recommend that the roof be cleared of all leaves and any other material at regular intervals. Gutters should be kept in functional
order to ensure normal water flow.

Caution
The covering of new and existing roofs should be carried out with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, and Building Regulations approval.
In some cases planning approval may be required for both new and existing roofs.

Fire Resistance
All statutory requirements should be adhered to in accordance with relevant National Standards and Codes of Practice.
